Shipping policy

Order Processing

We're too small to ship every day. We ship orders on Tuesdays. Bay Area customers only can utilize Fedex Ground / Home Delivery. Other parts of California this won't arrive in time for the product to be in peak condition, so we will cancel the order.

At Andante Dairy, we take great care to ensure our cheeses reach you in peak condition. However, because we entrust our hand-crafted products to third-party carriers, certain variables remain beyond our direct control.

Credit Card Processing

We've recently changed the settings to authorize your card when you checkout, and charge when we ship.

Transit & Delays

While we strive for precision, delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Nature, transit volumes, and carrier logistics (FedEx/UPS) can occasionally cause delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Inclement weather or natural disasters.

  • Carrier errors or high seasonal volume.

  • Inaccurate or incomplete shipping addresses provided at checkout.

Planning for Your Event

To ensure your cheese arrives for a specific occasion, we recommend scheduling delivery 2–3 days in advance. Most of our selections can be tucked away in the refrigerator to maintain their quality until your event. During peak seasons, we may ship your order slightly early to safeguard against potential transit delays.

Delivery Specifics

  • Signatures: We do not require a signature for delivery. The decision to leave a package at your door rests with the individual courier.

  • P.O. Boxes: As we ship via UPS or FedEx to ensure freshness, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Returns & Cancellations

Due to the perishable and artisanal nature of our work, all sales are final once an order has entered fulfillment or has been shipped. We are unable to offer returns, refunds, or cancellations beyond this point.
